To provide technical pre-sales and post sales support to the sales teams and customers on server-based computing, thin client products and services

Responsibilities/Job Function

Drives and develops the technical sales part of customer engagements Develops and maintains long-term relationships with clients and partners by managing and interpreting their current and upcoming requirements Helps in the design of custom-made solutions Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a solution meets clients needs Validates the architecture, use cases, sizing Prepares answers to the technical part of incoming tenders/RFPs Prepares pre-sales technical solution descriptions Drives Proof Of Concept trials Acquires a solid and in-depth understanding of customer's technical requirements and uses this knowledge to develop the most relevant solution Contact person for the implementation of customized solutions Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education to customers on-site as well as remotely Arranging and carrying out product training Closes deals and supports the customer Working on after-sales support services and providing technical back up as required Liasing with other members of sales team and other technical experts Provides feedback on potential product improvements to the product development team Cooperation and information exchange with 2nd Level Support

Qualifications/Minimum Skills Required

Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with server-based solution minimum of 5 years prior experience Experience and understanding of middleware components namely Citrix, VMWare, Microsoft Good background in understanding and knowledge of network management software systems and their interaction/integration with network elements IP networking (physical & virtual), including multicast Virtualization(ESX, XEN, etc.) Linux know-how for trouble-shooting and scripting languages Data & web applications Knowledge in database handling and scripting (Microsoft SQL Server) Experience in developing and presenting solution designs as part of pre-sales activities Strong presentation and communication skills Accept regular travels in the region and occasionally transcontinental Enjoys working in a team environment and being part of a fast growing company A self-starting and highly motivated individual who wants to win in competitive situations.
